A new edition of the Schema Therapy book for professionals will be published in the summer of 2025.

According to the news, next summer, a new edition of the book “Schema Therapy for Professionals” (The Schema Therapy Bible) by Jeffrey Young, Wendy Bahari, and Joan Farrell will be published. This news was announced at the international conference in Warsaw, Poland. In their keynote address, Joan Farrell, along with Wendy Bahari and Dr. Young, emphasized the importance of paying attention to the core concepts of schema therapy, such as primary maladaptive needs and schemas. Dr. Young also stated that openness to new concepts such as subjectivity is essential, but that one should never neglect to explain the underlying schemas and needs. In the new edition, the new information on schema subjectivity will be more integrated with the old and basic concepts of schema therapy, which will reduce confusion among new schema therapists.
