September 2024, Dr. Christophe Luz became a new Honorary Life Member of the International Schema Therapy Association.

Three days ago, on March 10, 2025, Dr. Christophe Luz, the father of child and adolescent schema therapy, thanked the ISST board by publishing his certificate of honorary lifetime membership and making this announcement. 

Honorary Life Members of the International Society for Schema Therapy are nominated by the Executive Committee and must be approved by the General Membership Assembly. The award of this level of membership is an honor bestowed by the Society in recognition of outstanding contributions to Schema Therapy and the ISST and is relatively rare. Honorary Life Members have the same rights as full members but do not pay dues.

Previously, Dr. Jeffrey Young, Dr. David Edwards, Dr. Eckhard Rüdiger, … have been some of the honorary life members of ISST.
